Abandoning alcohol
In light of recent events and reflections, I have decided I am done with alcohol. I have nothing against it and if you like to drink good for you. For me it’s about association. If you feel you have to drink to fit in then you are trying to fit in with the wrong people. I turned 21 with no intention...

Return to Fifth Grade
So I dreamed last night that for some reason both my sister and I were starting 5th grade again, even though we have already graduated high school and I have a Master’s. I was asking myself why I was going back. Also, because of a rule change in the school district (which is true in real life), we h...

Advice on asking out
Okay, I agree the only dumb questions are the ones you don’t ask. So I’ll explain and see what advice you can offer. Of the goals I set for 2020, I have a achieved quite a bit even in the face of COVID. I finished school for accounting, passed the CPA Ethics exam, got an accounting job, got my own a...

Omnipotence
I know Wiccans/pagans have varying beliefs about their dieties, but that said is their a belief that these dieties are all powerful in the same way the Judeo-Christian God is?

Card dream
I dreamt last night that I sent a high school friends father a birthday wish on Facebook. Then he sent me a card in an envelope which I figured was a thank you card. Inside the card was a big folder and the card was inside of that. Then also in the envelope was a wrapped gift with my name on it whic...

Class reunion dream
So here was last night’s dream. I am attending a high school reunion at my hometowns YMCA, which was actually where my first job was. As I entered. I saw one of my former students (who is now a semi-famous tv news reporter) from my days as a teacher. At the far end of the place some of my classmates...

Wicca and Christianity question.
So there are the arguments that one could be both a Wiccan and a Christian. For those who take that position, I want to ask: what are your thoughts on the Christian doctrine that we are all sinners and Jesus died for our sins? And does Wicca have any parallels to that doctrine?

Moving Dream
First some back story. Five years ago, I left home and moved to a new town. I lived three years in a trailer in the land lords back yard before moving too my present residence, a house shared with four roommates, two years ago. In five days, I will finally be moving into my own apartment, with swimm...

Personality
Again open question because there is no definitive answer. If you believe in reincarnation, do you believe personality caries into the nex life? Do you believe what determines personality is spiritual, biological/genetic, social/experience based, or a combination of any or all of the above.

Fellowship/ support groups
Not sure if this is the appropriate section for this topic, so I apologize if it isn’t. I have heard of a thing called atheist churches, which serve the purpose of having a fellowship for atheists. They don’t believe in God but this is so they still have like a support group. I’ve heard of Wiccans a...

Re: marxism vs witchcraft
I have heard of many Marxist who are not atheists. Marx was an atheist. Basically he believed religion as a mechanism of the haves to maintain the status quo by saying it is ordained by God. He also believed it was a means to keep the have-nots in their place by convincing them they would be rewarde...

Reason to believe in reincarnation.
I don’t know For a fact whether or not reincarnation is real. However my attitude is if I can’t remember vividly the past life and learn from it,what’s the point in reincarnation? So even if reincarnation does happen, it really practically doesn’t happen. That is the way I look at it. Now I know som...

Dating and relationships
My relationship history is next to nonexistent yet that hasn’t stopped me from searching. Now I saw the post on this forum about the day of the week you were born on and being a Sunday baby I agree with it that I have a lot of people I hang with but very few, probably no, actual intimate friends, bu...

Re: The day you were born...
Wow, very accurate. I’m a Sunday baby. Yes I have always hung out with many people but never had any real intimate friends. Humility I have had to lear. Sports I have gotten better in over the years but I never really clicked with the arts.

Honored to join you.
It is my pleasure to join this community. A little about myself. I am a 40 year old male who is in the middle of a midlife career change to become a CPA. I first became aware of Wicca about 9 years ago. I a Presbyterian, I don’t consider myself a Wiccan but I accept many of its principles. I use to ...
