Sea Witches?

So, ive been exploring the interwebs and The Sea Witch was mentioned. Can anyone give me information about sea witches and who they pray too?

Disclaimer: I'm not a Sea Witch, so I can't be cited as an expert in the area. Plus I would really like to see other members contribute their own experiences.

A lot of pantheons have deities and spirits associated with the seas and the life therein, that is likely the focus. I have a few books on the topic that I haven't been able to read through yet, but maybe I can produce a review in the far-future (you would not believe how long my to-read list is, I've gone through 3 books today so far and I haven't even made a dent). But the deity/spirit(s) you work with would be up to the individual.

I haven't read everything, but I think it could be a good source of at least basic info, and it's free for those who can't afford the books (or not yet anyway )

Thanks for all these replies! Thanks for the books Vesca! And for the website Muirin (I read like the entire website as soon as i saw the post)! Its so cool that others are interested in sea witchcraft as well! Haha MzMollimiss! I gave up on restraining myself to a bookshelf, i have books scattered everywhere!

I'm not a sea witch but if you're looking for resources on water magic (including sea witches) you might consider Mermaid Magichttp://www.faerymagic.net/html/MermaidMagic.html. I have Witchy Magic by the same authors and I found that to be really comprehensive and easy and engaging to read.
