my words...

Just a few for the moment...
Gentle Light
MsMollimizz

May the Goddess Bless You

As the Sun rises, so may your spirit
Let the warmth enrich your soul
Let no shadow, cloud your mind
Making all, again feel whole

When Sister Moon shows her face
Sending Her gentle light, our way
May it surround you, in grace
Worries and doubts, washed away

This is what I pray, for you today
As the new day, brings sadness
Gentle calming energies, we pray
That your hearts be caressed

The Northern

Winds moaning long and low,
crashing against the walls.
Wanting in, to get warm.
Whistling, lonesome calls.

Trees bent low, bowing down
meeting the ground, reaching
beyond it’s limits; breaking
limbs. Against windows screeching.

Leaves swirling on the ground,
miniature tornadoes; moving across
the ground. Twisting, turning,
falling up with a gentle toss.

Winds whistling thru cracks
in the door, beating on the house
Moving debris at will. Unspent
energy, cats tearing thru the house.

Friends of a feather, caught
in mid-air; looking for a pocket.
Destinations, against the wind.
Soars down, rather just walk it !

Remember When ?

A blank piece of paper, before you sits
It stares you in the face, no eyes to see
What is it saying ? I can’t hear it, yet
Pen slowly drops to the paper, then stops

No, wrong words, they don’t sound right
Another attempt, wrong words again !
The paper smiles, curse of the blank fright
No words appear, none that has remained

A phrase or two, not quite connecting together
Couple more words begin to form again
Starting to make sense, it’s getting better
Coming together, the beginning of a new thought !

Until one has loved an animal,
part of their soul remains un-awakened.
