amber and loadstone

On Wednesday nights, I play poker. There's a guy that comes in that carries a piece of amber and a loadstone. He does fairly well, usually walking out a couple hundred ahead each night, and it seems that he just basically has the best hands just constantly handed to him. Does anyone think the amber and loadstone bring him luck? He openly admits he's pagan, but that's all he'll say about the situation.

Well, luck is not only about what stones you are carrying--there is always something fateful to it and it is difficult to creat luck out of nothing. Nevertheless, amber is quite lucky and calming and lodestone is considered to be magnetic in the sense that it draws energies to it. I think that your pagan gambler may be doing a little more than just wearing stones.

Can I just say that it really doesn't matter if WE think the stones bring him luck. He obviously thinks it and that is the key.
