Personally, my dog is allowed to lay around during rituals and spellwork. What about you all?

my own pets are usually absent, but the neighbors cat, Dixie....shows up the second circle is cast nearly every time :fairy:

My alter is located in my guinea pig room, and so my guinea pigs are always present when I work magic. One of the first spells I did was a protection spell for them, to keep them safe. They both seem to go really chilled out when I start doing spell work, they go from running around like crazy things to just laying down, relaxing and watching me. I think they find it quite peaceful and soothing.
