A coloring page I colored from this book.
23 scenes depict fanciful sprites amid the magic of nature, surrounded by flowers, butterflies, and woodland creatures.
What I liked:
Paper: The paper is a nice white color (as opposed to the recycled paper look). I'd say medium thickness of paper, Middle of the road kind of quality. The paper is also perforated and easy to pull out.
Designs: I like her style of drawing. Another plus, since this book can be painted too the designs were printed in light color lines. Easier to cover with paint than black lines. Also, the thickness of the lines are slightly larger than normal to allow painting to be easier since it's harder to precise with a paint brush (at least for me). The drawings are printed on one side of the paper, so no bleeding.
What I didn't like:
Paper: I would be nervous to use watercolor on these pages because of the paper. If they were a bit thicker, it would be great.
Designs: The only thing that I didn't care for with the author's style of drawing is that most of the faces are similar.
I'd give this a 4 out of 5.
