Hi.
Like the title says, I'd like some help if possible identifying a pink flowered plant. It was planted by my old neighbor over a year ago, and has bloomed this July.
My first guess was pink sage but I am very very uncertain if this fits the criteria.
I will try and upload a photo here:
Is there anyone whom can try and help me identify this?
Thank you.

Re: Help identifying pink flowered plant
What type of environment did it grow in? Any leaves? The branching of buds reminds me of Russian sage but those flowers are pale lavender to blue.
Think I found it: Eupatorium purpureum, otherwise known as Joe Pye weed.

It seems a little un-fluffy for joe pye weed. This plant is pretty spiked.
It's hard to tell what color the flowers are, though it reminds me of curly dock.
Could you post a clearer picture with a good example of leaves too? Tx

Thanks for giving it a shot guys. I think I figured it out. My cousin suggested Astillbe. I think that is what it is.
Here is another photo of the flowers.
I think it is an Astillbe plant, there are two in pots my old neighbor left behind, out front.

Re: Help identifying pink flowered plant
Hi.
Again thank you both.
I am certain now after reading on Astillbe that my cousin was correct. She is an avid gardener, and while probably does not approve of my religious choice, I can always count on her to talk objectively about plants. I am very thankful she came through for me, and pointed me in the direction which she did.
And I am very thankful to you both for trying to help me. That is a big part of why I come to this forum.

Thanks again.
