My name is Patty (or monarchwing), and I just signed up here. This looks like a really good place to be.
I'm a 51-year-old female from Minnesota in the U.S. I love to read just about anything--as long as it isn't about politics. I like to write poetry. I like astrology and numerology. And I love the tarot.
I've been interested in Wicca and Witchcraft since the early 90s, when I read Cunningham's The Truth About Witchcraft Today. I've read some of Christopher Penczak's books and some of Silver RavenWolf's books, along with a book by Raymond Buckland. I loved them all. I haven't dedicated myself yet, though. That's a big step. I think I'd be a Solitary since I don't know anyone in my area who practices the craft.
I'm looking forward to reading more on the site and hopefully getting to know some folks.
