Ravencry posted some very helpful info under Sabats. Give it a read. Also I'm pretty sure there are a lot of crossovers between Easter and Ostara. So you could plenty of Ostara stuff with the kiddos ;)

We have always celebrated Ostara as Easter. Makes things easier for family celebrations :) Many crossovers... Bunnies and chicks, coloring eggs, celebrating Spring in general :)

Depending on weather, I may putter in my garden. I will do a small ceremony welcoming spring.

A major sign of spring is the abundance of eggs as our hens' production picks up. As the days grow longer their laying really picks up. And, thus we have a great abundance of eggs. So, Ostara always involves egg dishes, egg breads, etc.

I'll probably do a small ritual to promote growth. Nothing big really.

This is my first ostara and I celebrated by painting some eggs and burning some jasmine.

Blessed be everyone and have a wonderful and safe ostara!

I want to do something special being my first and also my oldest daughter's introduction to Wicca. I'm not sure what to do though.

Why don't you two do something simple? Make egg shaped candles or plants using actual eggs? Bake offerings for your altar like traditional honeycakes or flower cookies? Read your daughter a story about Ostara and do a simple greeting to the moon? There are a lot of neat ideas you can do and you're only limited by your creativity. Most of my ideas are arts and crafts you can do with your kids. Lol

Well I can hopefully spend sometime outside, I might do a ritual and probably some meditation at the least. I will of course cook a big meal. Ostara holds a special in my heart, It was my first sabbat!
It seems no one can help me now, I'm in too deep,
There's no way out, This time I have really lead myself astray.

I don't have an altar... (I say half hiding behind my pillow) I know. Bad Wiccan. I'm learning still.

You don't NEED an altar to cook anyways. Just have fun with all the creative ideas you can think of wether it's arts and crafts, cooking, etc. The sky's the limit.

Having an egg hunt for my grandkids. We usually do that on Easter, but we'll be out of town next weekend.
