Dad Doesn't Respect Nature
that was annoying. me and my dad take spring walks in nature. last friday i was sitting down watching a bug minding it's bussiness, coming near me and then leaving again etc. dad reached out and squashed it for no reason. then he kept picking up flowers and when he cut out enough he threw them on the ground and left.

Re: dad ignorance
Oof. Just reading that made me uncomfortable. Sorry about that "dad ignorance". Maybe you should try to just casually talk to him about how he doesn't need to bother the bugs unless they're bothering him, pick the flowers unless he needs them, etc....
I'm glad that the two of you take nature walks together, though. Maybe you can use them as an opportunity to teach him to love and respect nature.

Oh gosh Kat that sucks. Like Falcon said if you can get Dad to understand that the critters big and small matter to you, and that next time you would love to take the bouquet home and put it in water.
