google tells me that it's sunset to sunset - I'm assuming this is because it was originally a celtic thing

Most of the books and websites I've seen usually say that it's Feb 2. But I'm sure the Goddess/God won't strike you dead if you celebrate on the 1st. Some Christians celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve, but Jesus never seems to get upset about it (probably because he wasn't born on either of those days, lol).

My circle is actually celebrating today, I never found anything wrong with celebrating a bit early or a bit late. I don't think the Gods mind, I mean, your celebrating them ;P
