Navajo made necklaces, from vacation at the Sonoran Desert

Post by [cherokeewind] »

A Navajo by the name of Rocky, had a blanket there and making necklaces. I used my gallery at MyTribalSpace to upload the photos...here are some to look at, have heavy duty wire, so they won't break.

I was traveling across the Sonoran Desert in Arizona, stopped at the only rest area open with facilities. To find these necklaces in such a hot arid place, was nice indeed. :D

I am wishing now, that I'd bought at least a couple of the gemstone chokers...they were real nice and fancy.

But, I was thinking necklace, is larger, get more stones. It is a shame, I never have seen such nice chokers before...now don't have even one! :o
