Re: Do I have psychic ability?

I think all people have psychic ability, it is just a lot more restricted in some people. And in some people, it comes very naturally... Kind of like, all people have the ability to do art, but for some people it's a lot harder, and for some people it's even a struggle. But they can still do it with...

Re: pain banishing spell

I usually don't say anything to banish pain with magic... I usually just 'focus' the energy of the pain out of my body with a visualization. I don't like to just send that painful energy anywhere at random, so I tend to choose some kind of object as a 'carrier,' and then later disperse the energy fr...

Re: 20 Clever Altar Ideas

This is awesome! I love some of these ideas... definitely some things in here I have not thought of. I don't have much need for most of these, but I like the idea of having a room with elemental altars in each corner... cool idea :)

Re: Anxiety/Fear of flying

Jasmine tea can help calm the nerves, too :) Try making a potion with it and drinking it before or during a flight :) (I don't really know the rules of bringing drinks onto a plane... I mean, I would assume something like a water bottle would not be restricted, but I don't know... it seems so strict...

Re: Ettiquette relating to church???

Thanks for the advice guys :) I think I have a better idea of what I will say next time he brings it up :) If I am lucky, he just won't extend the invitation again, and perhaps he'll assume I'm just waiting for the right time. My curiosity is not too strong, so I don't know if I'll go or not... in t...

Re: The Darker Side of Christianity

Erm, with all due respect, (and I don't know anything about Creepy Hollows) but the complaints in the link you sent don't seem THAT horrendous ... the term "Witch Wars" sound really, really overblown ... It looked like normal internet whining to me. Look at any product page on Amazon and ...

Re: The Darker Side of Christianity

I didn't even realize this was seen as a beginner's forum. There seems to be plenty of experienced and new people here alike.

The only time I have heard "witch wars" is when people talk about drama amongst pagans, which afaik is not some specific event from a couple years ago.

Re: The Darker Side of Christianity

As for the all caps you expect a man into his 60's to care to remember or care to remember sentence structure and proper grammatical structure. No, but I am expecting him to put forth even a basic effort. I do hope you all learn respect for those who have survived the witchwars that happened only a...

Re: Spell to attract a new job

Make sure he is involved in whatever spell you do. Let him know you're doing it and if he wants to, let him participate. A lot of the power behind job spells is in creative visualization, which is an actual psychological science. So if he's not involved, it's not going to work nearly as well.

Re: Which tarot deck do you like?

A lot of people like to have a lot of decks, especially if they perform divination for others, so that the seeker may have a choice. And even alone, people like to have multiples for different moods, purposes, feelings, etc. I have a few but the one I like to keep on me is The Witches Tarot. The one...

Re: I get carsick

Oh yeah, I don't know if this was mentioned... but don't look at things in the car, especially reading... Like, don't read a book, play a video game, or use your cell phone to text or read websites or whatever! This is the main trigger of motion sickness for me, actually. I read a little bit of a bo...

Re: Does anyone know the name for this?

Hmm, I guess it's just a very intense/realistic form of visualization, then. I will admit, the visualization I employ in magic is not anything as 'intense' as what I experienced as a kid. My current visualization ability lends more to like... a very vivid imagination/daydream kind of experience. But...

Ettiquette relating to church???

Recently I have received an invitation to join a church. This is with someone I carpool with and so I have like an hour of chatting with them a week. I don't want things to become awkward. I do not have any problem with Christianity and other people following it. I like learning about it, though, bu...

Personally, I find things lose credibilty as soon as I see they're written all in capital letters.
