Flying Octopus

There is one movie I saw many years ago which is about an flying octopus killing people on the plane. It look horrific, and really cool. There is also a space whale (I think that's the name) on Doctor Who, which is a whale that live in space. I was wondering if those flying animals could actually be true? If so, would it be some form of extraterrestrial beings?

And in one of the supernatural forum, one guy was talking about seeing a transparent being floating in the sky that have the shape of the octopus with many tentacles. The being is very huge and moves its tentacles around them as if it were touching the objects on the ground. The person didn't feel scared or anything, but feel very peaceful. I think he describe the octopus like being as very gentle, not evil at all.

And there is a news taking about an octopus shaped UFO that destroyed a wind turbine. Here is the link:
