Not likely.
Shadows aren't usually able to be controlled by someone else.
They are like leeches, they attach to people and exploit their negative traits to gain strength.

Actually, they CAN be controlled, that is an OLD speciality of mine. They'd have to have a great deal of will-power to overcome one, especially one as powerful as the shadow I felt...

It's quite possible, but like I said the shadow I felt...even through just the picture was overwhelming to me..it'd have to be someone who had developed in that art far beyond what I have...

Hmm...
She would've had to make someone very angry.
I was going to make a joke about the prices she has for her 'talents', and that maybe said person got angry.
BUT, I wasn't sure it would be appropriate.
haha.

Well now, that wasn't a very nice thing to say at all now is it?
That another can see something that you apparantly cannot, does not imply at all, that they are on drugs.

Absolutley.
Because it's common/normal for people induced with drugs to all see and experience the same thing.
There isn't such things as the imagination and human perception 'psh', you saw us right away.
You must have a wonderful sense of perception.

Releasing bats

Post by chamaneblanche25 »

Whoever is releasing these bats is not impressing me very favourably due to the fact that she bandies about the term 'delusional' and apparently does not know what it means. For the record, the American Heritage Dictionary (3rd edition) defines 'delusion' as follows:

1. The act of deluding or state of being deluded.

2. A false belief or opinion.

In a clinical psychological context, 'delusionality' is one symptom associated with schizophrenia.

People can also be so narcissistic as to have an exaggerated sense of self-worth, which, in itself, is a form of delusionality. It is also a symptom of Narcissistic Personality Disorder, which, in its milder form (according to the American Psychiatric Association's DSM-IV) is merely a personality disorder. However, in its more extreme form it is a full-blown psychopathology that's right up there with substance abuse (i.e., heroin, cocaine, crack, caffeine, etc.) and in dire need of psychotherapy.

If you're going to bandy about a term such as 'delusional' or related terms, at least know what you're talking about. The very misuse of the term 'delusional' as mentioned in a previous post is indicative of someone with little or no training as a mental health professional - and making such a statement is being kind.

Such an individual should do this group a favour and refrain from making what can be considered, at best, ignorant comments.
