knowledge spell

I rewrote a stregnth spell into a knowledge spell but I'm not sure if it'll work:
chant three times:
power of day,
power of night,
give me knowledge
beyond my sight

so mote it be

and what about the rest of the spell, i mean candles etc etc...
i think purple candle or light blue would be good, for insight.
and for some reason i just thought of lemon for incense :?
