I think your dream that occurred shortly after your friend's passing was a dream of mourning. You saw her there, in your dream, but she couldn't come to you, someone else did. That seems to signify you're feeling that she's just out of your reach but was still 'with you.' Having these sort of dreams after the passing of a friend or loved one is common, there's nothing wrong with having this kind of dream at all.

Your later dream of your fiancee and your friend delivering you the mail from him, I believe, is telling you that you are very worried about your fiancee's safety and you fear losing him as you lost your close friend. (That's why you were dreaming the two together.)
