Hello, to all who are celebrating.
I write tonight as I am celebrating tonight, as I am unable to tomorrow.
My daughter and I created our own May Poles out of dowling and rainbow coloured ribbons. They look so pretty and celebirtory. She is 5 and is inlove with her and dances around as if it a wand. I love watching her and that gives me all the joy I need and reasons why to celebrate this festival.
Fertility, being blessed with my two wonderful daughters and the anticipation of oneday watching them create life as well. Ahhhhh, sigh.
I will be studying in the next many years to become a doula which is maybe why this festival is so special to me. I want to base my career on watching and helping life enter this world and supporting the mother as it happens. I need to study now while my children are growing and hopefully will be ready when they are older enough to fend for themselves, to be on call.
Well Happy Beltane.

Looks like I will be, for the most part, missign Beltaine as well. I just found out a few days ago, that my roomate has invited company to visit tomorrow. It looks like that will interfere with my plans to celebrate this time. I don't know what it is with people I know, and there horrid timing. If I didn't know any better, I would say it's soem sort of conspiricy to keep me form ever doing sabbat rituals. The last few of them, someone has somehow double booked me, last minute, lol.
Oh well. HAPPY BELTAINE, ETUM!
