Very well put, everyone. I understand all of these different philosophies, and each and every one has a great deal of merit. Some people need to put up their "wall," to insulate against the proverbial stones being flung at them- some wash themselves in love, forgiveness and understanding of those around them who are less than that; some merely exist in the shadows. Honestly, whatever manner you choose, whatever works best for you, whether it's permanent or temporary-- go with it.

In a world that's collectively so blind and unaccepting, any manner of coping with it is good, in my opinion. (Okay yes, there are exceptions.)

Follow your heart, and stand strong while you do it.

I really do applaud you on your outlook on this issue AkanaAnash..

There aren't many out there with the strength to stand up for themselves.. Although it is a shame that you are put in the position to stand up for yourself in the first place.. People are quite content to see what is on the outside and judge.

I really hope those in your community can come to acceptence..
I do hope you have some form of support there, and if not then you have everyone here who is so supportive!

Keep up the strength, and remember to keep yourself happy :)

My thoughts are with you.. :)
