You could do what I did when I first realized that Christianity was lacking in the feminine divine: Openly convert to Catholicism, and get started on those good old Marian devotions. While Mary, in my opinion, lacks the "oomph" of some of the other Goddesses, she makes for a good, gentle starting place- For everyone. Your parents won't be too harsh on you since you're still technically "Christian", and few people will question a devotion to the mother of their God.
