Makeing a BoS - ageing a book

Post by Addalaide »

Ok well, alot of people want to make themselves a special Book of Shadows and insted of buying a neet looking book, i made a tutorial on how to make one! This is a way to make the books look old and used and, well aged.

It takes a while to make, but it smells sooo good when your finished!

Thats the link. I whould love to know what you all think. Also if you dont understand something i will try to explane it better.

(sorry there will be a fue...ok ...alot of typos i will try to find them and fix them latter. )

the book is very lovely. If the book gets damp or moist will the coffee mixture smear?

Suh-weet! Very easy as well, no exotic material required. x3 Love it!

Edit Jan 20, 2009: I tried this, and it worked out superbly! I burnt the edges of the paper with a match as well.

Looks great!

I remember doing that to a booklet I made for English class last year (I had to write a diary in Juliet's point of view from Romeo and Juliet). It does look really awesome when done right. You can also use a lighter to make burn marks or holes, but make sure you don't catch the entire thing on fire.
