Dad is ok

Post by Firebird »

I rarely recall dreams anymore but when I do I like to take note.
The dream:
Was attending some sort of faire, like ren faire but it wasn't. My stepson was running one of the booths. Mostly everything was disorganized. Daughter, myself and others I know but cannot recall were present. Stepson said hey "Firebird" look who I found and he brought forward a person from the very dense crowd of people. It was my father, I broke out in huge sobs and ran to hug him. They figured out what was wrong and somehow brought him back to life, through my tears I cried "how is this possible you've been gone (dead) for over 10 years now. He smiled his big friendly grin and said, "well I'm here now." .
Spent much if the rest of the dream looking for him. Not sure why I lost him in the dream but it was so freaking real I am beside myself this a.m.
Dad died of complications due to Alzheimer's, a most infuriating and horrible disease.
Miss you every day Dad. :|
Love, your sniklefritz

FBF, I'd say it was very real, in that plane of communicating with spirits. And being near Halloween, the timing is understandable. He's just saying he's here for you.

It was nice, he was even wearing a shirt I remember well. Had considered the thining of the veil to be a factor, and I wondered if he was presenting himself to be there for their next door neighbors funeral service which was today. (I've been up at my mom's)
I often think or wish I would dream of him when in my parents home, but no. So last night was very special.

Dreaming of a parent who's passed away is a bringer of good news, ff. It means you are about to receive news and you are on the right track. I don't know much about dream interpretation, but I have been researching the subject lately. :)
