Which pagan subgroup would I fit into?

Post by Ivy Amethyst »

I practice witchcraft and spells, but also pray to gods and goddesses including the green man.
I pray to the gods and goddesses of all cultures, Greek, norse, roman, celtic ect.
I also follow the Wiccan rede

Which subgroup do I fit under? I thought wicca but most Wiccan articles just talk about a god and goddess and that's it, but I worship many

It sounds like you walk a pretty eclectic path and go with what feels right to you. The beautiful thing about this community is that we are about acceptance. Many of us don't fit in one box or under one label. If you want to call yourself a Wiccan, if you think and feel that you are a Wiccan, then go with that, but you don't HAVE to. You can fit under whatever subgroup that you want. You can be whatever you want and there isn't a single soul out there that has any right to tell you that you're wrong. You can make up your own name for what you are and that doesn't in any way make your path any less valid or real than anyone else's. It's your spirituality.

What do you think fits YOU?
Dance like the Maiden
Laugh like the Mother
Think like the Crone

Wiccans are not limited to worshiping only the Goddess and God, in fact a lot of traditional covens work with a specific pair of deities. But there's more to Wicca than the rede, as well. Do you follow Wiccan ritual structure (casting the circle, calling quarters), use the "standard" Wiccan tools, follow the wheel of the year, and so on?

You sound to me like an eclectic witch, someone who pulls from many pantheons and traditions to make their own path that works best for them.
