I thought people might be able to share music they use for meditating, or if people think it's a good way to get you into the right frame of mind
Personally, I would recoment the piece "Music For 18 Musicians" by Steve Reich. It's a minimalist composition, and consists of pulses and repeated rhythms. It's a fantastic piece anyway, and I often use it when I'm feeling restless or can't sleep. I borrowed the CD from my tutor at college, and he says he uses it when he's working. The rhythms seem to affect the brainwaves somehow.
Anyone else?

My personal favorites are Delerium's album, "Karma", and songs by Lacuna Coil, like "Ghost Woman and the Hunter", "Heir of a Dying Day", "Aeon", and "Half Life".
Delerium is trance techno, and Lacuna Coil band is goth metal. Even if you don't find them useful for meditation, they're great bands anyway
