The First Quarter by Sazh Dixon/Absinthe

Post by Absinthe »

The First Quarter- by Sazh Dixon/Absinthe.

The moon tonight, something magical
The moon tonight, yellow and bright
Hide behind the darkened tree
The song in my head crystal clear
Midnights stars give me hope
Midnights stars, bring me life

In the hush, something I see
In the air, something felt
The first quarter, spring is near
The first quarter, winters ending

Cool breeze whispers through the tree
Telling tales of lands far away
Soon we shall dance
Soon we shall sing

Something old, feel it in your bones
Something new, feel it at your finger tips
The first quarter, something to be born
The first quarter, deaths song is done
“Dance, when you're broken open. Dance, If you've torn the bandage off. Dance in the middle of the fighting. Dance in your blood. Dance when you're perfectly free.”― Rumi
