anyone know what this is?
Bought this little crystal two years ago in a little shop when I was in Texas, I have no clue what it is
Can anyone identify it?

If you could edit and adjust your photo so we all may see it ( there is an error in the link), that would be helpful to the rest us us in identifying what type of crystal or stone you may have.

Fixed it for you. Not sure what that is but I admit my stone knowledge is a bit lacking I am still improving my knowledge base. Another member may have a thought on what is may be though.

It looks like it might be jasper. If you have a rock and mineral club in your area, you might try taking it to someone there. Or if a gem and mineral show comes to your area, a lot of knowledgeable people frequent those.

I wouldn't say a jasper, its almost transparent AND its not as red and more pink. I would assume it may be dyed?

Dyed is a possibility. A lot of stones and crystals are dyed for marketing purposes. I don't have any other ideas at the moment, but I'll park it in my subconscious. Sometimes the answer finally pops up for me. I learned a bit about minerals from a retired miner, but he passed a while back, so I don't have my source available to ask anymore.

Looks like carnelian or sunstone to me, but I'm a beginner when it comes to crystal identification.
Re: anyone know what this is?
I want to say it looks like a dyed quartz point.
