Thank you! I think I did quite a good job with that (modesty is for the ones that have no other virtues :D ). I think my daughter is going to love it. And not to forget it only cost me 20 Euro cents. :D

Today my creative mood is still continuing. Here's what my daughter's wall looks like :) I am open to suggestions on what else I might add so it becomes something like a painting. The tree is made out of linoleum and the butterflies are made from paper.

Project "Decoration" finally finished. I am so excited :) My little girl saw the pictures and "I LOVE it, mom! Thank you!". And it was so worth the effort! :D

Since I am quite absent-minded, I forgot to show off my herb garden. It's not really a garden, just several herbs I am raising on my balcony, but I really love them. So here we go:

I have Salvia, Lavender, Rosemary and oregano :)

I'm so excited my kid is going to be a first grader this year (I guess I'm more excited than her :D ). So I made her a weekly schedule table. Here it is:
week.jpg

Down on the left we have "Letters from mom and dad" which could be anything from "We love you" to "feed the cat". On the bottom right are the "Letters to mom and dad by kid" :) The blue spaces are for piano classes and the orange spaces are for school schedule. This is placed on the door of her bedroom so she sees it just before going to school. :)

That is a great idea Yana! This will surely help her learn to stay organized even at her early age.

Thank you, Seraphin,
Organization is definitely one of the main things I would like to teach her from the beginning, because it will help her later.

Today, I decided to make some changes in my BoS. These are all done with a black and red pen, but I got quite excited and ordered some calligraphy tools, so I can write in it with ink, instead of writing with pen. The letters are not very good as this is my first attempt to do fancy Gothic letters, but still, a lot better than my previous work. So here they are:

This is my title page that says: Book of Shadows

This is my blessing.\
moon.jpg
This says "The Moon" and on the page I describe what moon phase is good for what rituals.

Yeah, and it looks a lot more "witchy", doesn't it :D I love calligraphy too and was inspired y Xiao's works here to try and work a little on my writing. So I found an online shop for artists and Wednesday I will have 4 dip pens and several different colors of ink. As it turned out, they are not even expensive. So once I get them, I'll show you my next attempt to do fancy lettering :D

You know I have like a gazillion projects at all times. The latest one is making Kombucha tea. I got the idea from Levitating Cat's thread about homemade probiotics and got myself a scoby the very next day. So today I drank the first glass of homemade Kombucha tea with ginger and cranberry. And it actually (despite the smell) is DELICIOUS (not to mention good for the stomach and bunch of other things). :)
I read several posts on internet of how to make a facial mask with the scoby you don't need and once I give scoby to all the friends that asked me to, I'll do that too and report the results.
