Wand’s wood I.D.

Post by Lover of War »

I need help to identify the type of tree my wand came from. I went camping with my family, went on a trail by myself, and i asked the Goddess if she was listening and basically said thanks to her. After that on my way back to my family i saw out of nowhere a perfect debarked stick, and i don't know wat type of wood it is. So can anybody help? Sorry about the picture being so small.

The pic is hard to see. What type of trees were there around the campsite?

Oak is a hard wood and pine is pretty soft and a light almost white color. Try pressing your thumbnail to the wood. You don't have to press hard. If it leaves an impression with little pressure then it's a good chance it's pine.

That's cool! Oak is about grounding, knowledge, protection & channeling energy so it should make a fine wand! :)
