Help with a relationship spread

Hi,

I did a relationship spread today for myself and my boyfriend, just to see whats going on really. Now, when it comes to the section on my boyfriend, I'm pretty confused all round about what it means... Help?

Spread layout:

Me:

1. Origins of relationship - XIV Temperance
* process of moving from one level of maturity to another
*hope, inspiration
*healing process

2. Where it is coming from - 0 The Fool
*a new chapter in life opening up
*freedom
*taking initiative
*individuality

3. Present - where it is now - X Ten of Swords
*don't carry burdens and problems of others
*under a heavyworkload - acting as "nursemaid"
*must learn to say 'no!'
*too much energy is involved

4. Where it is going - VI Six of Pentacles
*reward on base of merit
*sharing, generosity
*give and take in a relationship - perhaps one partner is giving more
*financial or other disparity

5. How it ultimately evolves - Knight of Pentacles
*Considerable action - getting things done
*fulfillment and also difficulty
*perhaps indicative of nagging - wishing for the perfect relationship
*perhaps IS perfect relationship

Him:

1. Origins of relationship - XVIII The Moon
*dreams, fantasies, illusions
*fear - perhaps to be alone?
*yearning for fulfillment
*symbol of mother - his relationship with his mother?
*unexpected surfacing in life?

2. Where it is coming from - V Five of Pentacles
*Financial or other difficulty
*Relationship suffering
*hard times - perhaps one partner going through difficult time, strain on relationship

3. Present - where it is now - IV The Empero
*Gaining independance
*saying no to what you are unhappy with
*assertiveness and leadership

4. Where it is going - VII Seven of Wands
*Don't let problems build up
*Standing your ground

5. How it ultimately evolves - Page of Swords
*Gossip - don't believe all you hear
*Be careful of being jealous

Well, that's all I got. I put everything down cos I don't want a reading, I just really need some insight... I get what my section is saying, just not what his is!

Give me some time to study it. I haven't done a spread in two years. ooops. I'll try to provide a little info for you. Not sure if the other readers are still around or not.

I don't know anything about your relationship with him so my response may not be accurate, but it will be unbiased as far as my knowledge goes. You are the best judge of accuracy.

1: He engaged in the relationship on impulse. Believing something that may not have been true at the time.

2: Troubles have arisen in the past that have caused stress on your relationship. (possibly related to some friends of his?)

3: (Need to know more for accuracy, what I think) He is either going to try to take some leadership role in your relationship or get a better job.(Again, not entirely certain)

4: There are going to be problems ahead for him, possibly for both of you. He may make a decision you do not agree with.

5: (If I have this right, it's not good) What you drew on 5 would seem to indicate that the relationship will not turn out well.

I know that's not good news but I need one more piece of information. Could you tell me which cards if any were inverted? This can change a reading drastically if placed right/wrong. Depends on location in spread.

Also, this is what I can see in the cards as you drew them. This is by no means a final answer either. You did the spread with your deck, you will know the meaning better than I. In addition, I'm still cleaning some cobwebs out. :p

Hi, that's really helpful thanks. None of the cards were inverted, however I don't bridge shuffle and also the book I use for meanings does not have inverted meanings!

I would really like it if you would do a spread, that would be very helpful! Thanks.
