Could a healing spell be strong enough to heal tendonitus?

Post by Wolf* »

(probably spelled wrong) I realise that I could be asking for something near impossible, but I need to know. My mother has it in two places on the same shoulder, and its putting her through alot of pain. I really want her to get over this if she can. The doctors said that there are ways to help but the odds of completely getting over it are slim to none. Its not life threatening or anything, but it is very painful. So, as I said, I need to know if a healing spell can help this, and if anybody has any they would like to suggest.

Interesting question there Wolf.

I lioke a lot of what MissJ said. I would consider doing a healing on her--I'm not sure if it needs a formal spell--but if that is how you feel you can help then by all means. I think that she will need a variety of therapies. Stone and crystal work can perform miracles--I have seen this time and time again--so you may want to get her some of the darker stones like RUBY, MOHAGANY OBSIDIAN, BLACK TOURMALINE as well as some of the softer stones like TURQUOISE, BLUE LACE AGATE and ROSE QUARTZ, even ARAGONITE. Place these stones on the proper chakra (the dark stones should go on her root chakra to increase her physical stamina and survival instinct), or on the affected area. Then send energy through intense visualization into the stones, which will then send that healing into your Mom's energy field. Practice circular breathing while doing this--every breath in fills and surrounds the body with light, and every exhalation removes old and unnecessary energies from the body.

STRETCH! Yoga can also do wonders as can regular meditative practices. She should visualize the muscles around her body going soft and relaxing. I've done this on myself after intense soccer games, and on others who over did it at the gym and the muscles will react to the intense thought stimulus. Her doctor is right, there is alot she can do. Experiment with ways that get her to relax, and then hone in on the muscle that needs the healing energy.

Good luck Wolf.

That is very useful info BSP, and thank you, but I don't know if I can use it in this instance...

She is a christian, so she won't really except any direct help through metaphysics. Thats why I asked for a spell, so she wouldn't have to know it was magic that helped. ( I think it would be kinda rough on the mind to throw what you believe out the window after years and years)

And as for yoga, that is like the physical theripy they tell her to do. She says it hurts too bad to do it, even though we tell her that it will work...

Though I believe MissJ has the right idea with asking Hedge about herbs and oils. She has no problems with natural cures.

Wolf, Went to the natural store and picked up some Boswellin Cream.

It has been proven to reduce pain and enhance joint flexability.
It also comes in a pill form, dont know if your mom wants to go that way, I dont like taking pills unless i have too :?

The herb is called BOSWELLIA. if you go to the store (natural) asking about it.

Hope this helps. Oh yeah it doesnt smell bad either

Hi Wolf :D
Sorry to hear about your mum, tendonitis can be very painful.
I would recommend Tiger balm. It is widely available and if gently massaged into your mums shoulder twice a day it will help alleviate the pain greatly.

Thanks Hedge :D

Can Tiger Balm be found in like a mall or something or do you have to go to a specialist or natural shop? I live in the middle of nowhere, so items such as the ones mentioned are not exactly a common resource.......Yes, this town does suck.

In the UK it is available from supermarkets and health food shops, as well as most drug stores. Do a search on google Wolf, type in the name of the supermarket near you and search their products.

If you don't have any luck I'll be more than happy to post you some, though it will take about a week. :D

Well, I think that the concentration is important. Usually when I employ magic to help, it puts it off or lessens the effects rather than eliminates the problem entirely. Although, there was a case a few years back where literally one day I was diagnosed with bronchitis and strep throat and the next day, after much energy centering etc, I was announced perfectly healthy - by the same doctor.

I'd advise lots of stretching (if she can stand it) and arthritis creams work sort of like mild Tiger Balm (I too live in the middle of no where and am in constant search of pain-relieving creams).
Come, heart, where hill is heaped upon hill:
For there the mystical brotherhood
Of sun and moon and hollow and wood
And river and stream work out their will.

Age Old Remedy that works...

Post by Yavanna »

Hi, I'm new here...this is my first post. After years of study with many excellent books written by herbal pratitioners, midwives, and crones, I can tell you what worked for me:

I have had dreadful tendonitis in my right ankle since I was in 6th grade (due to a bad fall in Ballet class). 15 years later, I was still feeling the tendon go "Boing!" when it popped out af its spot - and bingo, pain for a week before it settled down.

20 years after the injury it was just starting to quiet down when I wrenched my ankle awfully. Nothing really helped, though the Tiger Balm did sooth the bruising. I did the following and it worked like a dream:

1. cook 2 leeks (cleaned and sliced up the middle) in some crisco, just enough to get them limp.
2. Allow the leeks to cool til they are just warm
3. Wrap the leeks around the affected areas and then take a clean ace bandage and wrap it over the leeks (this can get a bit slimey, but stay with it). Secure the bandage.
4. Immobilize the affected area. Place a hot water bottle or heating pad on top and warm the area whenever it starts to feel cool.
5. Do this for as long as possible (an hour or two at least).
6. Remove the dressings and leeks, then massage the remaining crisco/leek "oil" into the skin.
7. Re-wrap the area in a clean bandage and let the joint rest for 12-24 hours. Wash the joint carefully in only lukewarm water.
8. Repeat the process at least one more time if tolerated.

I found that the pain was not totally obliterated until the second treatment.
The joints will remain stiff for weeks to come. One of the most important things to remember is not to stress the joints - if you are going to help them heal only very, very, VERY gentle stretching is advised.

Hope this helps. Oh, and another trick is to make a leek balm with the crisco, but it's an ugly green and stinks to holy high heaven. At least the whole leeks can be removed.

Wolf, sorry to hear your mom is not well. Unfortunately, I don't know any remedies. I just had a comment.

Does your mom pray? You can sit down and pray with her asking for the things that bsp mentioned. Something along the lines of "God, take my pain away and help me heal". In my thinking, prayer is a form of magic (you don't need to tell her that). If you think that this will be offensive to your beliefs, just think that you are praying to one of your Gods. Sorry Wolf, I don't know who you believe in :) But I think that this will help with the spiritual part of healing.

Yavanna: :D wow, thanks! I'll have to try that. I will have to wait untill we get time,so she is not working so much though

Scifichick: Well, she prays, but to herself. She doesn't kneel at the bed and pray for a long time or anything like that. Anyway though, She uses some balm that Hedgewitch was kind enough to send, and that works fairly well, and she is doing better than she was before. Shes ben doing a bit of yardwok too, so I think the movement helps in working it out.

It's not the type of thing that will just go away, it can get better though, and it has been doing just that. :)
