As the old year starts to wane the new begins, it's now Samhain.
When the time for Imbolc shows watch for flowers through the snows.

When the wheel begins to turn soon the Beltane fires will burn.
As the wheel turns to Lamas night power is brought to magick rite.

Four times the Minor Sabbats fall use the Sun to mark them all.
When the wheel has turned to Yule light the log the Horned One rules.

In the spring, when night equals day time for Ostara to come our way.
When the Sun has reached it's height time for Oak and Holly to fight.

Samhain (October 31st) - Considered the first day of the New Year for most Wiccans. Day to honor loved ones who passed away the previous year. The veil is thinnest between worlds of good and dead. Colors for this day are black, purple, and orange.

Yule (December 20 - 22, depending on when the Solstice falls) - Known as the Winter Solstice. Symbolizes the death and rebirth of the sun, as represented by the God. Colors are red, green, and white.

Imbolc (February 2nd) - Also known as Candlemas. Signals the end of winter. Candles are lit to banish darkness. White and pastels are the colors.

Ostara (March 20 - 22, depending on when the equinox falls) - Spring Equinox. Celebrates the newness of spring and rebirth of life on earth. Symbols are things that represent the new life to come, such as seeds and eggs. Colors are pastels.

Beltane (May 1st) - Celebrates joys of love and reunion. Honors the sacred marriage between the God and the Goddess. Known as May Day. Many handfastings and Pagan wedding ceremonies are celebrated on this day. Any trinkets signifying romantic love, maypoles, and flowers are symbols. Color is rainbow.

Midsummer (June 20 - 22, depending on when the solstice falls) - Summer Solstice or Litha. Major solar festival. Longest day of the year, shortest night. The God is in greatest glory and strength. Midsummer recognizes his impending and inevitable death. Bonfires and sunflowers are symbols of this day. All sun colors, like gold, orange, and yellow.

Lammas (August 2nd) - Lughnassadh or Cornucopia. First festival of the harvest season. Symbols are signs of harvest (breads, fruits and veggies). Colors are browns, dark golds, and red.

Mabon (Sept. 20 - 22, depending on when the equinox falls) - Second of the harvest celebrations. Celebrated like Lammas (the symbols and colors are the same).
