(Because, you know, sometimes you just want one. Also, with a few minor adjustments you can use it to send the other person romantic dreams about you.

Directions: Find something that symbolizes the person you want to dream of such as a photo, something they gave you, something they said to you written on paper, etc. Just before going to sleep recall your most favorite memories with them, then hold the object on your heart and chant:

With these treasured memories,
sweet dreams of you shall come to me.
The way you laugh, the way you smile,
my heart, it skips, it leaps a mile.
Your gentle breath, your tender touch,
I long for you, so very much.
Your lips so soft, your eyes so bright,
I need you on this lonely night.
Let me feel you, smell your scent,
taste your mouth, you're heaven sent.
Close me in your warm embrace,
and make my heart begin to race.
Pull me ever closer, near,
tell me what I need to hear.
Fulfill my every earthly desire,
until my passion roars like fire.
As is my will, this shall be done,
my magick dream has now begun!

Put the object under your pillow after reading the chant and then go to sleep straight away! Enjoy!

Spell to Reveal Truth:

Your truth is hidden from my sight
I ask this spell to shed purest light.
Lift the veil so I can see
that which you are hiding from me.
As I take your lies it in my hand,
so no more but only truth shall stand.

This is a bit wordy but it has worked for me a few times. If you are using this to get answers from a person, be careful of Karma coming back (no messing with people's minds) and it helps if you have a picture but will work if you do not have one and just need to see the person in your mind's eye.

Heart Desicion Spell

this spell is to help you see what your heart wants with a clear mind
ingedients:
-a pen
-a piece of paper
-dried eyebright (its a herb otherwise called euphrasia)
-a piece os selenite or white quartz or rose quartz since its a spell about romance.
- a small candle if you want to (rose tealight is my suggestion)

if you have chosen to have a candle light it now.
write down the name of the person you like but cant decide on your feelings (in your case Dan) on the paper and leave it in front of you on the table
hold the stone with one hand and with the other take some eyebright and start sprinkling it over the name as you recite:

and help me see with sight(or maybe mind) unblind.

spend a few moments with your heart and mind open wide and the stone in your hand.

Having trouble finding all the herbs you need for a spell? So did I. Well, to solve the problem for myself and many others, I decided to create a spell that takes up normal household food and common objects from outside. I mix oranges, bark, and some spices to create a simple testing spell. This spell can either send your heart fluttering with excitement, or can relax and bring you down further in your mind. It depends on what your mood is the day you do it, what spices, and how you preform it. Lets get into it!

First. What will I need?
-1 orange
-1 stick, or bark, or some shavings of bark or wood
-Some spices, normal use kitchen ones
-A file, a metal-nail file works fine. (I got mine at a dollar tree, I needed the case for a project I was doing.) If not, you need something else to scrape the pith off the orange. I just used what I had

And of course, some other items. You will need a place to mix these later, a bowl works fine. Another item you will need is a candle, this can be any color but for my example spell I am using white. At the moment, this is the only color of candle that I have a lot of. (I didn't want to, par say, waste a candle of any other color, in case I needed to use it at a later date.)

One of the first things you need to do
Is peel the orange and scrape the pith off of the peels. Separate the two, and set each aside. Next you need a pinch of bark dust, the file works well with this too. As I have mentioned before, you will need some spices. It is rather vague because not every witch has every herb; so what you will need to do is gather your spices/herbs and sniff each one, or feel its energy, and whatever feels right to put in gets put in. (make sure its safe for consumption)

Now that you have your components, pith, peels, and spices, you can now think of what energies you would like to strengthen. I am going to strengthen my being towards my purity works, basically I am going to make my mind and energy more attuned to the specifics. Remember what color candle you use plays a part in this, and as you may only have certain colors, this might restrict you some.

After you have your 'topic' you need a little rhyme, or chant, to help get the message across. Make sure you specifically say your word, or a synonym for the word. My chant goes as follows:

Purity rises, eyes flutter,
Goddess of light and good,
As I'm here, reach to me,
Teach to believe, to be my sight.

It isn't significantly better than what a 5th grader would conjure up with, but the rhyming isn't everything. It is what you feel when you speak it, as I have come to believe. So far you have the ingredients, tools, and written rhyme. We now need the order!

In either a dark or semi-light calm room, gather your materials. Take a little pith in one hand, peel in the other, and say as you bring the two together- *note this can be changed, I'm using this as an example*
"Once brothers in birth, helping to sustain, encouraging to survive, brought again in immortal strength."
Lay the two, now 'one', down in the bowl. Bring in the spices, and say-
"The earthen sisters, finely drawn, join hands with the long lost."
Join the spices in the bowl, and next dash the shavings in and concentrate on the image of the topic you used.

I used purification, as the joining of elements to create something good. Or you could of health, as the pith (pith is very healthy for you) and its love, or of spiritual as the many energies together to be stronger than the separate. Relate what your topic to what we just did, (I have done this so many times for different topics its hard not to see what to think. If requested, I will make a chart that everyone can contribute to.)

Focus your energy on the candles energy, chanting the rhyme you devised earlier. Once you believe you have got the right mood and energy, imagine the orange mixture burning in flames. Blow out the candle softly, and finish the spell by putting the embers out with your fingers, signifying strength. If you choose to, you may lick your fingers prior to extinguishing the embers.
---

How am I doing? If you disagree, please tell me. I have tried this many times and I have been more focused on certain spells, *i get more into a type of mind state, almost like trance*. This comes with practice and faith, I believe. This is a good beginners spell

Help a Friend in Pain
This spell needs to be cast with the purest intent and with an emphasis on what is right for your friend. Sometimes we have horrible experiences so we can learn a lesson, such as how to protect, love, and honor life and ourselves. Sometimes we need to visit the edge before we can see how far down it is to fall. This spell, which will be more like a ritual prayer, can be cast for anyone who is using drugs or alcohol, is running with the wrong crowd, has bulimia or anorexia, cuts him or herself, is being hurt by another, or who has other needs.

The first thing for you to realize is that your friend is the only one who can raise herself or himself out of the pain. Your job is to be supportive and unconditionally loving. Your friend is hurting, and sometimes a person's way of dealing with pain will be to lash out or even clam up; most of these actions are survival skills he or she has learned to cope and have nothing to do with you. As a friend, you are not required to sit by and be their punching bag, and do not take it personally. Before doing this spell, be sure to ask your friend's permission to make him or her a healing pouch, as magick is never performed for someone without their knowledge or permission.

Write down your friend's name on a piece of paper. Write down every wonderful quality about your friend, especially those present when she or he is well. Fold the paper and place it in a green cloth. Add a piece of amethyst to your pouch. Lastly, place eucalyptus leaves or oil in the pouch. As you bind the pouch with a silver or green ribbon, say:

Guardians, protect _______ (friend's name).
Right action takes place.
Help ________ (friend's name) out of this space.
Show her/him the love around
By Divine will from sky to ground.

Give the healing pouch to your friend.

Needle and Candle spell
To uncover a liar

You will need:
One white candle, 6-8"
matches or lighter
One sheet of office paper
One pen with green ink
One beeswax candle, 6-8"
Seven sewing needles

Timing: This spell is best cast during the full moon

1. Cast your circle
2. Light the white candle, saying:
Shadows take flight
In the moon's light
3. Turn the paper so that its longest side is horizontal, and draw a vertical line straight through the middle of it. On one half of the paper, draw the outline of seven swords, pointing inward toward the line. On the other half, draw a circle with a dot in the center. Place the beeswax candle in a secure holder on the center of the paper.
4. Heat the points of the needles and place them at equal distances and at the same level into the beeswax, about 1" from the wick, so that they stick out from it horizontally.
5. Light the candle, saying:
The Seven Swords
shall judge thy words.
While you are waiting for the candle to burn down to the needles, chant the following words:
Will know you
When you fall
6. If the first needle to fall comes down on the side of the swords, you are being deceived; if it comes down on the side of the circle and dot, you are deceiving yourself.

TO have someone accept your religion.
On a white candle, inscribe the following words: LISTEN UNDERSTAND ACCEPT.
On a long, thin strip of paper, write the following:
Listen to my words,
Understand whats in my heart,
Accept my choice
Wrap this piece of paper around the candle, and tie it with a thread from one of your fathers articles of clothing (Don't ruin anything, just a loose string. I used a string from a sock, you can remove it without anyone noticing)
Light the candle and say this chant:
Please Goddess and God,
Let my parents see me for me,
Let them listen to what I say,
For it is my truth.
Let them understand my ways,
for this is my belief.
Let them accept my craft,
for this is in my heart

Let the candle burn down.

The Sabbats: Yule

Yule, (pronounced EWE-elle) is when the dark half of the year relinquishes to the light half. Starting the next morning at sunrise, the sun climbs just a little higher and stays a little longer in the sky each day. Known as Solstice Night, or the longest night of the year, much celebration was to be had as the ancestors awaited the rebirth of the Oak King, the Sun King, the Giver of Life that warmed the frozen Earth and made her to bear forth from seeds protected through the fall and winter in her womb. Bonfires were lit in the fields, and crops and trees were "wassailed" with toasts of spiced cider.

Children were escorted from house to house with gifts of clove spiked apples and oranges which were laid in baskets of evergreen boughs and wheat stalks dusted with flour. The apples and oranges represented the sun, the boughs were symbolic of immortality, the wheat stalks portrayed the harvest, and the flour was accomplishment of triumph, light, and life. Holly, mistletoe, and ivy not only decorated the outside, but also the inside of homes. It was to extend invitation to Nature Sprites to come and join the celebration. A sprig of Holly was kept near the door all year long as a constant invitation for good fortune to pay visit to the residents.

The ceremonial Yule log was the highlight of the festival. In accordance to tradition, the log must either have been harvested from the householder's land, or given as a gift... it must never have been bought. Once dragged into the house and placed in the fireplace it was decorated in seasonal greenery, doused with cider or ale, and dusted with flour before set ablaze be a piece of last years log, (held onto for just this purpose). The log would burn throughout the night, then smolder for 12 days after before being ceremonially put out. Ash is the traditional wood of the Yule log. It is the sacred world tree of the Teutons, known as Yggdrasil. An herb of the Sun, Ash brings light into the hearth at the Solstice.

A different type of Yule log, and perhaps one more suitable for modern practitioners would be the type that is used as a base to hold three candles. Find a smaller branch of oak or pine, and flatten one side so it sets upright. Drill three holes in the top side to hold red, green, and white (season), green, gold, and black (the Sun God), or white, red, and black (the Great Goddess). Continue to decorate with greenery, red and gold bows, rosebuds, cloves, and dust with flour.

Deities of Yule are all Newborn Gods, Sun Gods, Mother Goddesses, and Triple Goddesses. The best known would be the Dagda, and Brighid, the daughter of the Dagda. Brighid taught the smiths the arts of fire tending and the secrets of metal work. Brighid's flame, like the flame of the new light, pierces the darkness of the spirit and mind, while the Dagda's cauldron assures that Nature will always provide for all the children.

Colors of Yule:

Samhain, (pronounced SOW-in, SAH-vin, or SAM-hayne) means "End of Summer", and is the third and final Harvest. The dark winter half of the year commences on this Sabbat.

It is generally celebrated on October 31st, but some traditions prefer November 1st. It is one of the two "spirit-nights" each year, the other being Beltane. It is a magical interval when the mundane laws of time and space are temporarily suspended, and the Thin Veil between the worlds is lifted. Communicating with ancestors and departed loved ones is easy at this time, for they journey through this world on their way to the Summerlands. It is a time to study the Dark Mysteries and honor the Dark Mother and the Dark Father, symbolized by the Crone and her aged Consort.

Originally the "Feast of the Dead" was celebrated in Celtic countries by leaving food offerings on altars and doorsteps for the "wandering dead". Today a lot of practitioners still carry out that tradition. Single candles were lit and left in a window to help guide the spirits of ancestors and loved ones home. Extra chairs were set to the table and around the hearth for the unseen guest. Apples were buried along roadsides and paths for spirits who were lost or had no descendants to provide for them. Turnips were hollowed out and carved to look like protective spirits, for this was a night of magic and chaos. The Wee Folke became very active, pulling pranks on unsuspecting humans. Traveling after dark was was not advised. People dressed in white (like ghosts), wore disguises made of straw, or dressed as the opposite gender in order to fool the Nature spirits.

This was the time that the cattle and other livestock were slaughtered for eating in the ensuing winter months. Any crops still in the field on Samhain were considered taboo, and left as offerings to the Nature spirits. Bonfires were built, (originally called bone-fires, for after feasting, the bones were thrown in the fire as offerings for healthy and plentiful livestock in the New Year) and stones were marked with peoples names. Then they were thrown into the fire, to be retrieved in the morning. The condition of the retrieved stone foretold of that person's fortune in the coming year. Hearth fires were also lit from the village bonfire to ensure unity, and the ashes were spread over the harvested fields to protect and bless the land.

Various other names for this Greater Sabbat are Third Harvest, Samana, Day of the Dead, Old Hallowmas (Scottish/Celtic), Vigil of Saman, Shadowfest (Strega), and Samhuinn. Also known as All Hallow's Eve, (that day actually falls on November 7th), and Martinmas (that is celebrated November 11th), Samhain is now generally considered the Witch's New Year.

Symbolism of Samhain:
Third Harvest, the Dark Mysteries, Rebirth through Death.

Symbols of Samhain:
Gourds, Apples, Black Cats, Jack-O-Lanterns, Besoms.

Herbs of Samhain:
Mugwort, Allspice, Broom, Catnip, Deadly Nightshade, Mandrake, Oak leaves, Sage and Straw.

Foods of Samhain:
Turnips, Apples, Gourds, Nuts, Mulled Wines, Beef, Pork, Poultry.

Incense of Samhain:
Heliotrope, Mint, Nutmeg.

Colors of Samhain:
Black, Orange, White, Silver, Gold.

Stones of Samhain:
All Black Stones, preferably jet or obsidian.
