No, not weird- but do be careful. The more open the man is to an attraction with both genders, the larger the chance that he'll decide on one particular orientation eventually- and if that ends up being gay, he'll ultimately end up leaving you behind. I've had it happen-- sucks. LOL

I don't see anything wrong with your wanting a bi bf, but is there any particular reason? Do you think perhaps he'll be more sensitive or open-minded?

I'm presently in love with a bisexual fellow, and I enjoy the company of my various bisexual friends more than I do my gay ones! (Not saying that as a put-down on gays by any means, as I am one!)

There's something really cool about the idea of being able to love a person for who they are with no gender constraints whatsoever. There are also many misconceptions about bisexuality and even some prejudices. I've heard and thought that it must make life so much easier to be bi, as one supposedly has more options for dates, prospective loves, etc. Someone told me that's absolutely not true, and that it's not "easy" being bi.

Sorry for going off topic a bit, maybe a thread on discussing bisexuality would be in order.

Curiosity, why do you want a bi-boyfriend? Why should his sexuality matter as long as he is attracted to you?

The only approval you need is your own.

Other people only need to be concerned if you ask your potential bisexual boyfriend to sleep with them.

So long as you are ok with the idea I really don't see what the problem is.
