The four elements in old lore

I thought i'd post this up cause when i was trained in this tradition it just made so much sense to me.

The colours of the four elements in Old Lore tradition are as follows:

Air: Red (because Old Lore is very much based around blood lines etc, the colour of blood when it is oxygenated is red)

Fire: Yellow (because when u look at a flame its yellow, not red

Water: Blue (for obvious reasons hehe)

Earth: Black (Because when you are in the earth, there is no colour)

I just found this way of thought so interesting and made so much sense to me so i thought i'd share =)
