A poem for my Dad

Post by Grafitti Sky »

Don't try to say your sorry,
that chance has come and gone,
Keep acting like your clueless,
like you've done nothing wrong.

For days I'd sit there waiting,
By the window, By the phone,
Only to be forgotten,
And end up crying all alone.

One day I finally I realized,
How pathetic you really are,
Up all night till sunrise,
wasting all your time in a bar.

I wasted all those years,
thinking you were a hero,
Only to meet my worst fear,
Realizing you were a zero.

But soon the the day will come,
Where I'll get the chance to say,
"I'm through with being numb,
I want you to go away"

"No dad, I don't love you,
I'm Finished with that lie,
Go do whatever you want to,
And Finally, Goodbye."
