Merry Meet to all!
I have a friend who suffers from bad back problems and he has asked if there is anything i can do to help. He has ongoing pain in his back and periodically it gets a lot worse and causes immobility. I was wondering if anyone could help with a spell or such like that could help him with this. He says he has been to a Chiropractor and it hasnt seemed to have helped.
Thanks

Well, I'm not a doctor but here's a few questions on a mundane level:
Is he overweight? Does he have a proper mattress to sleep on? What is his activity level like? Does he eat well? A chiropractor will put things in place, but a healthy lifestyle will be more likely to keep it there.
On a not so mundane level, I don't know anything about healing myself but Reiki might be something to look into.

You may want to try a sports medicine specialist.
A regular exercize regimen can help to keep the back stable. What the specialist offers in terms of exercize can help a great deal. Also, yoga works VERY well for keeping my back under control. But again, you want to find someone who really understands backs. The problem with chiropractors is that you have to screen them carefully.
I have an uncle like that, and he's very thin, and generally in good health. It runs in our family.

There has been a bit ofa backlash against chiropractic here , recently. I have a friend whose injuries were made worse, after chiropractic treatment. You do need to be careful. I wouldn't use it. I have old injuries in my lower back and upper ribs, towards the back. Yoga is a brilliant method of keeping everything toned and working. I 'm itching at the moment to get my Tai- Chi, going again .Events have kept me from it recently. That would also be good, for any health problems, I believe, get those meridians flowing again.Reiki, by all acounts is good, I know a few people who recommend it. I haven't tried it, but I am considering 'dip da' chinese treatment, excellent - especially for martial artists but hard to find a practitioner here.lol.
