Proper Ways to Cleanse/Charge Stones

I cleanse most of my crystals and stones by popping them in a bowl of Sea Salt for two days, not with water though, just the Sea Salt alone. To charge I use the Sun, Moon and visulisation, which ever takes my fancy at the time, sometimes I get a certain "vibe" from the stone itself which tells me it should be charged under the Moon, Sun, etc.

I have used vinegar to cleanse. A couple of times for a total cleansing - I buriend them for a complete moon cycle.

Vinegar to cleanse? Or clean? Either way, it seems to me that vinegar would just destroy some crystals.

It has not destroyed any of mine yet. I never thought that it could. I will have to be a little more careful maybe. I hope I did not cause someone to harm theirs - Yikes! I have been telling a few to do it that way for years. That was just how I learned when I first started learning. Thank you for the tip Sercee
