I got him in a chain petstore in an ugly inhumane cup. There were more of them on the shelf and I wanted to rescue everyone but I couldn't. And if I got more of them they would order more, so it would be pointless anyway.
So, here he is, in his new 25litres aquarium (6.6 US gallons, 5.5 UK gallons). It's heated and filtered (see the diy filter at the back?, did it acording to yt video :p). His favourite place is near the heater. I'm sure the poor thing was freezing in that store cup and now he can't have enough of warmth

His name is Bystrík. It is an old Slavic name that is not used often anymore. It has two meanings.
bystrý means smart, clever
bystrý is also an adjective used to describe pure, pristine water, especially when describing a stream in the mountains
letter "k" is used to form a deminutive. When it is at the end of a word, it signifies that it is something lovely, cute or dear to you

As you can see, he's still young and he should grow and maybe change colors. Although I love his current color- it changes from pink to blue as light shines differently on him

If you want to look at him, I made an album. Hope you will be able to see it https://goo.gl/photos/KoN34iDr2N2cYzx7A
