They are so gorgeous Kassandra....... My cats would make a beeline for one, thinking. 'oh how squiffly she bought a new blanket of warms just for meeee' and then explode in a ball of fluff all over it :)

Lol, practicality versus looking good, a dichotomy...shall the twain meet, ever?

...well, how 'bout this?...an alternative (for the warm months, at least), fabrics: organza and voile, handmade, less than $100 a piece, just as gorgeous as the velvet but you could probably hand wash these in the sink (can't hide stuff under these as with the velvet ones though, hehe)...

These are sweet! I made one like the second one....was always too warm for the regular cape here in So.Cal.!!
>>>HOT Summer nights and it works well for those hot day time rituals as well :D AND I can pack into a wad about the size of a softball (maybe a broomball is more the size!)...great for transportation.

Hey Firebird - cool idea about the packing... These are amazing ...love the black one - fair price too. They look breezy and ethereal too :)

Why can't mainstream fashion pick up the hint? Cloaks like these are not only beautiful and practical, but just plain freaking cool. :)
