New to the wiccan world

Post by Bychan Wulf »

Hy! I'v been reading about wicca the last few years and now that I turned 18, which is the legal age in my country for choosing your path, I decided I'm ready to embrace this religion.
I feel that a strong bond with the nature represents myself and that the wiccan lifestyle is what I can consider healthy for myself. Another reason for wanting to embrace it now, is because I'm looking forward to find my inner power, to develop it and be able to chant healing spells, which also have a result. As a future med student, I want to learn how to help my patients not only with knowledge, but in the spiritual way too.
P S: sorry for the long post,I usually don't talk that much, but I wanted you to make an idea about me and if possible to help me with advice for my spiritual journey.

Hi and welcome. I've often wondered why more medical professionals don't do hands-on healing. I wish you all success in your path.

Thank you ! I am from Europe; more exactly România.
Is there anyone else on the forum from here too? I would like to join a coven to share my spiritual journey with, but here, those who practice witchcraft in general, are not really honest people, and I'm a little bit reluctant in joining any kind of coven.

Welcome. I work in health care as a nurse. A place does exist for alternatives to western medicine. I keep my alternative workings low key, but I have seen people benefit.

Thanks! It's good to know you're not the only one who thinks that way. It makes you feel less crazy about your beliefs and approaching ways. I hope by the time I finish school and can decide what's best for my patients,I will be powerful enough to make a change. ;-)
