Hi, I just thought I'd start telling you all something about this magickal and ancient isle that I live on, it was the last stronghold of the Druids until Suetonius Paulinus came with his Roman legions and destroyed this mystical religion. Also known in the Welsh language as Mon Mam Cymru, which translates as Anglesey the Mother of Wales, so called because at one time the island could produce enough corn to feed the whole of Wales.
But Paganism didnt completely disappear, not even with the coming of Christianity it carried on been told by word of mouth from one generation to the next it is still here among the standing stones and the stories of the Tylwyth Teg ( The Fair Folk ). Here one story called The Witches of Llanddona, a story of a group of people who came ashore to this small hamlet, a well known story here on the isle.
