Creating YOUR Wheel of the Year

Post by manicpixidream »

So, I'm running into a "problem," so to speak. I'm creating my pantheon of deities and "assigning" them sabbats, at least if they don't have their own traditionally. How do people do this? For the moment, I'm missing a god for Litha because it seems like Pan would work for both Litha and Yule, as well as a few others but Litha is coming up. I like the idea of having a separate deity for each sabbat while worshiping them all intermittently throughout the year, but I don't know if it's feasible. Thoughts?

Are you staying within one culture? Since Pan is Greek the othe Gods and Goddesses from that Pantheon would be relatively easy to assign. Apollo might work better for Summer Solstice.
