[Feather&Stone]

Unfinished and only tentatively titled, I would love feedback!

I get to live this opalescent sky
Autumn trees with lime green leaves that live in emerald glaze
Vermillion leaves with blood tinged ends
Suspended
In thin air,
In chilling air
Thrilling me with the strange whispers of trees
The soft magic of subtlety
Enchanting breezes easily
Lifting me, kissing me, sweeping me
Up! Into their whirlwind
Pulling me under and then pushing me
Urgently ushering my soul to the sea and promising, promising! to take care of me,
To caress my body while I slip softly through the water
Sliding silently, sinking in that drifting way
Oh so smoothly through the waves
The weight of the ocean so heavy to bear
That my soul itself felt mortal, and long before the midnight floor I
