Hi all! I decided to upload a photo of my basic altar that I've had for a while. It sits on a north-west facing windowsill looking out to a small garden. From left-right I have:
-A black clay bird shaped incense holder with jasmine incense
-A collection of crystals- citrine for air, opal for water, goldstone for fire, moss agate for earth and a small piece of white quartz for spirit.
-A large quartz crystal
-A black candle
-Plants growing- currently cacti but was previously sage.
This is a very neutral altar that can be easily customised for sabbats or deities you follow, and is inconspicuous too.

Thank you! It's from a shop called TradeAid where the products are made by community groups in poor countries, which makes it quite special to me :^)

Aw, well that makes it even more beautiful. I'm drawn to all birds. Is that something you can find online to buy?

It's very lovely. I like how we see nature in the background. I can imagine that it's more helpful to get in touch with certain gods and godesses.

Bluejay, I'm not sure! Assuming you live in UK or the states, you might need to see if they ship to the northern hemisphere.
And yes snowdrop, It's very important to me! Best part is the seasonal plants so I can physically see the seasons change (I live in a temperate area so most trees stay green all year) and the moon+sun shining through and blessing my altar every day!

This is such a happy, beautiful altar! I really like it, especially the stone choices. Plus, the idea of the sun and moon blessing your altar all the time is very cool. Also, you have a lovely garden :)
