Who am I?

Post by ness »

I am a new member on these forums. I made an attempt to introduce myself but it is always so difficult to introduce myself because I don't understand myself. One day, while musing, I wrote down some words that probably reflects my spiritual state. I would like to share it with you all -

A soiled soul
Confused and bemused in confidence
Restless, ungratified while in peace
Screaming from inside for self expression yet no allies.
Beautiful thoughts but where is the pen?
Did you look beyond others or simply looked the wrong way?
Are you getting close? Are you lost?
Funny, no stars can guide you
But let's find each other
and in the presence ask "Who am I?"

I just wrote this... instant writing (not sure if that's what its called).
Well, I am at work and I had a vision of walking into a house, into a room. Seemed like noone was there and I was just there to watch the space that was left behind. Not sure where I was and what this means. I just wrote down what came to my mind. I havent made any corrections...

The calling, the calling, the calling
why am I here
I should be gone
waiting for my time
that will come with dawn
Here's a sheet of paper
And a pen
Write down the address
lead me to it
knock on that door
and present yourself there
what do you see?
Room full of windows...
Printed table cloth
empty room
light and shadows
I like these spaces
To watch living spaces
when the space is left alone
what does the space say?
The room is quite
Things dont more
the floors dont creek
There is silence, yet there is life
Life in things
Life in light
Life in the space
Its not tight

I was digging up some old files and found this poem I wrote about 8 years ago. I think this was my first spiritual vision and as years have passed by, this feeling of waiting has only gotten stronger. Sharing it here...

I wish I had your poetic talent! May I borrow it just for a little while? I promise I'll give it back. :D
