Pretty Yule Centerpiece

Post by Falcon_Heart27 »

Hello everyone! This is my first time celebrating Yule, and I wanted to decorate the house with some nice things.

One thing I made is a centerpiece for the table. It's pine cones coated in a glitter/cinnamon/nutmeg mix, and some "gilded acorns".

Does anyone else have Yule crafts that they like to make?

Yes, that is cute!
I actually like making paper chains, and all sorts of ornaments. I usually give an ornament at Yule.

Thanks! That sounds fun. I've never thought of giving ornaments as gifts, I might try that this year. :)

That's very pretty. I started an ornament giving tradition years ago with my daughter and my brother's kids. They each got a new ornament every year. Those ornaments were, unfortunately, casualties of life, but I renewed the tradition with my grandkids. By the time they're grown, they'll each have a small but nice collection for their own trees.
