I signed up for it a while back, but I just didn't get notified that it was about to start. Thanks though! I'm excited to do this with y'all!

I knew it was starting one of these days, but I'm busy until Wednesday night. So hopefully I don't miss TOO much. Haha.

You're not gonna miss anything, you can watch the vids whenever you've got time (they're both like 11 minutes long). Then you need to do the quiz (it's only 2 simple questions, lol) before Aug 24th.
I noticed the course is a bit chaotic, I suggest checking the discussion forums to find additional links to vids and pdf presentations. But looks like the course itself is not going to be too demanding or time-consuming so that's good.

Additional materials:
Class handouts and presentations
TEDx Talk
"Revival of Traditional Medicine..." by Eliseo "Cheo" Torres

I don't really know who is who in the class, but I have noticed a lot of Pagans in there. I am Monica. :) Thanks for those links LC.

I didn't even know you can go look at names or see others in the class. Haha. I'll have to go look when I'm not so sleepy.

There is a message board for everyone to be able to interact. Pretty awesome because it's like my college courses. :fairy:

It's alright! I might be taking a Reiki course instead, so I'm not TOO disappointed... Hehehe. Thanks though. x3 And I hope everyone else is enjoying it!

I was just going to chime in and say, don't drop the class! By that I mean, don't unregister yourself from the class on Coursera. You don't have to do the assignments or follow the suggested timeline or anything; the benefit of staying registered even if you don't wind up doing anything in the class is that you will still have access to the course archive after the class ends, so when you have free time you can view the video lectures and readings at your leisure. (You've got nothing to lose!)

(I will sheepishly admit to having signed up for 20+ courses on Coursera, most of which I have never participated in but signed up for on the off chance that if I get bored I will still have access to the course archives and lectures ... They're all free, and I don't need the grade, so what's the harm?)

Oh, shoot! I already dropped it. D: But that's okay. I was looking into the course materials a bit more recently and it just didn't seem like the right fit for me at this point in time. I feel like my healing direction is going in another way, and that this wasn't it. (:

Thanks for the heads up, though! I'll keep that in mind if there's a next time!

I sure hope so! (: I'd love to find other classes to do! I'm really interested in expanding my horizons. Haha. It's just going to be a matter of what.

I signed up for the Buddhist Meditation one that starts in January, and one about plants that starts in October. My foggy brain can't remember the exact names though lol.
