There are a lot of different spells out there. Is there anything that you really need or desire in your life right now? I have found that while casting spells to keep in practice for wants and simple desires can be useful and a great way to build up practice, the most effective spells are the ones cast when we have a deep and very real need for the thing to be taken care of. So if you are having social issues in school a spell to help with that may be a good one to start with. Look at what is missing in your life and what you feel you need to make those things come into being. That is what your spell should be about.

That I don't know how to help you with as I have always been able to see auras. Not everyone has the same gifts or ways of knowing spiritually. Some see with their psychic eyes, others feel, some can smell things. We all need to find out how we individually experience messages from spirits psychically.
