Tomorrow is going to be the 3rd year we celebrate Mother's Day without my mom. It's going to be a bittersweet day for me. My wee ones are practically bursting with excitement, and I'm so thankful for that, and them. But at the same time, it breaks my heart that I can't be (physically) with my mom on this day. I know she's with me in spirit, and that helps a bit. Still...it's not the same.
Special days like tomorrow are never easy, no matter whether your loved one has been gone for a short while, or for years. To others that have lost their moms, I wish for you to have a day full of love, peace, and very happy memories of your Mama.
