My son

I've been talking to my son tonight. He told me that he keeps seeing people out of the corner of his eye and he keeps hearing people calling his name. He's had a couple of headaches over the past month and he said he's had the odd white flash in front of his eyes. I'm going to make an appointment with the optician and the doctor to have him medically checked. But does anyone have any suggestions mundane or mystical that this could be? I've googled white flashes but it seems to be about older people as fluid in the eye gets thinner and he's only 16.

Migraines sometimes do that. Stress, lack of sleep, poor diet, sometimes simply genetics can be factors.

Could be schizophrenia, could be the thinned veil at this time of the year. I think bringing him to a medical professional is the best course of action for the time being though. Maybe have him keep an eye on his diet and sleeping habits in the meantime, figure out if he's under any kind of extreme or consistent stress, etc...
